Reservoir Monitoring Update

By February 29, 2020

TRWD continues to monitor reservoir conditions 24 hours a day.  Current reservoir conditions are provided below.  Currently, Eagle Mountain and Richland-Chambers are making flood discharges.  Eagle Mountain gates are currently closed, a small discharge continues at the overflow spillway.  Richland-Chambers discharges were reduced yesterday evening, see updated rate below.  Any additional updates to flood discharges will be posted here.

Dry conditions today and tomorrow.  Rain returns Monday through Wednesday, see Graphic-1 for guidance.  Current forecasts are showing 1 to 2 inches of rain across the TRWD watersheds.  Please continue to follow the National Weather Service (NWS) and the River Forecast Center (RFC) for the latest information regarding the weather and river conditions, respectively.

Please be advised that forecasts and projections are subject to change, and TRWD reservoir operations are based on observed rainfall conditions. The next update will come tomorrow morning, unless conditions dictate otherwise.  Please check back.
