Reservoir Monitoring Update

By May 26, 2025

Bottom Line

TRWD’s watersheds received between 1 and 3 inches of rainfall this morning due to a storm complex that moved through the region.  This rainfall is generating runoff and inflows into TRWD’s reservoirs.  See Graphic 1 below for rainfall depths through 8:00 am.  All of TRWD’s reservoirs are currently above conservation and discharging floodwaters.

Projections

TRWD staff is working to manage the water on the ground. We do not have projections at this time. We will provide projections as soon as we are able.

*Projections are subject to change and are based on past precipitation.

Looking Forward

Additional scattered thunderstorms are expected to develop later this afternoon, and rain chances will continue daily throughout the week.  See National Weather Service guidance in Graphic 2 and Graphic 3, below.

Next Update:  The next reservoir update will be posted as conditions warrant to provide updates on reservoir conditions. TRWD staff will continue to monitor conditions 24/7 and are available to answer the flood line if there are any questions or concerns.
