TRWD, Texas Parks and Wildlife hosting trout stocking events on the Trinity River

Over the next few months, TRWD and Texas Parks and Wildlife will team up to host six trout stocking events along the West and Clear Forks of the Trinity River in Fort Worth.

The first TRWD stockings, scheduled for the morning of December 11, will be held at both Trinity Park and River Park in Fort Worth. The season will conclude on March 14 at River Park with Trinity Flyfest, an annual family-friendly event that features trout fishing competitions, food and entertainment for the whole family.

TPWD will host four stockings in January and February, including two each at Trinity Park and River Park.

  • January 22, 2026 @ Trinity Park (Texas Parks & Wildlife)
  • February 4, 2026 @ Trinity Park (Texas Parks & Wildlife)
  • February 18, 2026 @ River Park (Texas Parks & Wildlife)
  • March 14 2026 @ River Park for Trinity FlyFest (TRWD)
