Reservoir Monitoring Update

TRWD continues to monitor reservoir conditions 24 hours a day.  Rainfall totals from yesterday are shown below in Graphic-1.  National Weather Service (NWS) guidance is showing this week to be rain free, see Graphic-2 below.

Richland-Chambers continues to discharge flood waters to bring the pool back to conservation.  See the table below for current discharge rates.  Updates to lake status and flood discharges will be posted here.

Please continue to follow the NWS and the River Forecast Center (RFC) for the latest information regarding weather and river conditions, respectively.

Please be advised that forecasts and projections are subject to change, and TRWD reservoir operations are based on observed rainfall conditions.  With rainfall out of the forecast for the week, this will be the final Reservoir Monitoring Update until conditions dictate otherwise.

*Conservation Level: The permitted level of water an entity is allowed to hold in a lake. Any amount above the conservation level is used for the temporary storage of flood waters and must be released downstream.
