TRWD continues to monitor reservoir conditions 24 hours a day. Next precipitation chance comes Sunday. The form of that precipitation is still in question, whether it be rain or snow. The latest National Weather Service (NWS) guidance is shown in Graphic-1. If it is rain, the current forecasts are projecting about 1/2 inch in the Bridgeport/Eagle Mountain area and closer to 1 inch in the Cedar Creek/Richland-Chambers area.
Cedar Creek and Richland-Chambers continue to discharge flood waters to bring the pools back to conservation. See the table below for current discharge rates. Updates to lake status and flood discharges will be posted here.
Please be advised that forecasts and projections are subject to change, and TRWD reservoir operations are based on observed rainfall conditions. Updates to this blog will be made periodically as warranted.
