TRWD continues to monitor reservoir conditions 24 hours a day. Rainfall is expected in the TRWD watersheds over the next 48 hours. Heavy rain is possible today in the Bridgeport/Eagle Mountain area. The heavy rain threat shifts east to the Cedar Creek/Richland-Chambers area overnight into tomorrow. Graphic-1 shows the National Weather Service (NWS) guidance on storm timing and severe weather potential. See Graphic-2 for the expected totals over the next 48-hours.
Current reservoir conditions are shown below. Cedar Creek and Richland-Chambers are at or near full. Additional rainfall is likely to necessitate spillway operations at these reservoirs. Staff will be monitoring the conditions and making discharges as needed to safely move excess water through the system. Updates to lake status and flood discharges will be posted here.
