Reservoir Monitoring Update

Bottom Line

No measurable rainfall in the TRWD watersheds since the last update on Friday.  Spillway operations are ongoing at all four TRWD lakes and lake levels are expected to continue to trend downward through the week.

Projections

  • Bridgeport: Pool should remain fairly level the next few days. Please note the reduction in spillway discharges as of this morning. Spillway discharges will be reduced accordingly as inflows continue to recede.
  • Eagle Mountain: Inflows to the pool have receded over the weekend. The lake level has been holding steady around 650′ to allow pool levels at Lake Worth to fall. Please note the reduction in spillway discharges as of this morning. Spillway discharges will be reduced accordingly to as inflows continue to recede. Pool should remain fairly level the next few days.
  • Cedar Creek: Pool levels are slowly receding. Spillway discharges will be reduced accordingly to return lake to conservation.
  • Richland-Chambers: Pool levels are slowly receding. Please note the change in spillway discharges as of this morning. Spillway discharges will be reduced accordingly to return lake to conservation.

Looking Forward

This week is expected to be warm and dry with record breaking temps possible Wednesday. Storm chances return Friday into the weekend. Please refer to NWS guidance in Graphics 1 and 2 for more details.

Next Update:  This will be last update for this event.  The next update will come as conditions warrant. TRWD staff are monitoring conditions 24/7 and are available to answer the flood line if there are any questions or concerns.
