Bottom Line
Mostly light rainfall today (Graphic 1) with minimal impact to lake levels. Spillway operations are ongoing at Bridgeport, Eagle Mountain, Cedar Creek, and Richland-Chambers. See current conditions below.
Projections
- Bridgeport: We are expecting an additional two inches of rise in lake level before it reaches its crest just below elevation 839 ft-msl tomorrow afternoon.
- Eagle Mountain: Flood discharges are ongoing to move water in advance of inflows that will be coming from the Bridgeport discharges. Even with the Eagle Mountain discharges, the lake is expected to exceed conservation elevation 649.1 ft-msl next week.
- Cedar Creek: The lake level is just above conservation with a low-level spillway discharge.
- Richland-Chambers: Lake elevation is expected to peak soon. Spillway operations are ongoing to return the lake to conservation.

Looking Forward
We are not expecting rainfall over the weekend. Monday is expected to see 0.3″ in the West Fork and trace amounts in East Texas. Tuesday is expected to see depths around 1.5″ in the West Fork and 2-2.5″ in East Texas. See NWS Guidance in Graphic 2.
