TRWD is bringing back its summer Pop-Up Cleanup events in order to introduce more residents to the Trash Bash Challenge, and help reach the goal of documenting 100,000 pieces of litter by the end of the year. These events will take place in key areas along the Trinity Trails where litter is commonly found.
Ready to make a difference? Pick the Pop-Up Cleanup event that works best for you, bring your volunteer spirit, and join TRWD’s Recreation department to help beautify these shared open spaces.

New to the interactive Trash Bash Challenge? Download the Rubbish app, search for “TRWD Trash Bash Challenge” under the Activity tab, and start documenting litter. Your reports help TRWD better understand what types of litter are showing up, where they are found, and why they keep recurring—information that supports smarter decisions to prevent litter at the source.
