Statement regarding possible gas leak at Richland-Chambers Reservoir

By June 23, 2024

***All Clear***

We at TRWD have been alerted to the presence of a possible natural gas leak in a pipeline located in the southern arm of Richland-Chambers Reservoir in Navarro County in the vicinity indicated on the attached map. We have notified local and state agencies, as well as the Railroad Commission, and are coordinating with them to identify the responsible oil and gas company. There are no immediate threats to the reservoir, and the local Emergency Management Office has relayed that the current conditions are not a danger to the public. We will continue to monitor the situation and make updates as needed.
