TRWD continues to monitor reservoir conditions 24 hours a day. The bulk of yesterday’s rainfall was in the Richland-Chambers watershed, see Graphic 1. Today’s forecast is similar to yesterday’s, scattered storm chances accompanied by gusty winds and lightning. The chance of precipitation is around 20% in the Bridgeport area and increases to the southeast, where it is 60% in the Cedar Creek and Richland-Chambers area. Follow the National Weather Service (NWS) and the River Forecast Center (RFC) for the latest information regarding the weather and river conditions, respectively.
All TRWD reservoirs except Bridgeport are discharging water. TRWD will continue to evaluate conditions at the reservoirs and downstream to determine the safest way to manage the excess flood water.
Please be advised that forecasts and projections are subject to change, and TRWD reservoir operations are based on observed rainfall conditions. Until further notice, updates will be provided one time per day. Please check back tomorrow for additional updates.
