Richland-Chambers WPP Meeting and Brush Management Workshop

The Tarrant Regional Water District will be hosting a Watershed Stakeholder Meeting and Brush Management Workshop on Thursday March 7th near Blooming Grove in the Richland-Chambers Watershed.

Who is Invited:
 Anyone living or working in the Richland-Chambers watershed and those interested in improving our local landscape.
What:
Tarrant Regional Water District’s Watershed Protection Plan Stakeholder Meeting, with Continuing Educational Units (CEUs) in Brush Management from the Ellis-Prairie SWCD and Texas A&M Forest Service.
When:
Thursday, March 7th, 2019 from 9:30am – 3:30pm

9:00 am Breakfast snack & sign-in

9:30 am – 11:30 am Watershed Protection Plan Stakeholder Meeting

11:30 am – 12:30 pm  Lunch

12:30 pm – 3:30 pm Brush Management Workshop

Where:
The Bennett Farm, about a mile south of Blooming Grove, Texas.  An email will be sent to those who RSVP by March 5th with exact address and parking instructions.
Why:
Receive updates on the progress of the Richland–Chambers Watershed Protection Plan, provide feedback for changes or modifications to the plan, learn about brush management from Ellis-Prairie SWCD’s District Technician and a Texas A&M Water Resources Forester, with the chance to earn 1 Free General CEU.
