TRWD provides 2.5 million North Texans with a reliable and sustainable water supply, vital flood protection, and a variety of recreational opportunities for those who live, work and play in our 11-county service area. Our goal is to enrich the lives of the people we serve.
To meet that mission, we need to get feedback from you from time to time.
The District is updating its Hazard Mitigation Plan, a long-term strategy to reduce risk from natural hazards such as drought, flooding, severe winter weather, and more. This plan guides how TRWD prepares, invests, and responds, and it is required to be reviewed and updated regularly to keep our region eligible for state and federal emergency planning resources.
We’re inviting the communities we serve to share their input by completing the short survey below. It only takes a few minutes, and will help shape our Hazard Mitigation Plan.
Community Input: Help Shape TRWD’s Hazard Mitigation Plan Survey.
The more we hear from residents, business owners, and community members across our service area, the better equipped we are to plan for what matters most to you.
