By August 6, 2026

Beginning August 10th, contractors will begin work on a section of Fort Worth Floodway at the Riverside Drive Bridge just east of I-35W in Fort Worth.

Construction is expected to take 80 to 120 days to complete, depending on weather conditions.

During this time, there will be a temporary trail closure and detour in place to ensure the safety of patrons and the contractors working in the area.

Trail users are encouraged to follow the posted signage on the trail and avoid the work site.
