TRWD’s Fall Trash Bash dates set

Tarrant Regional Water District (TRWD) is seeking volunteers across North Texas this fall who want to roll their sleeves up and make a difference in their communities by picking up trash and debris along the Trinity River in Fort Worth, as well as at Eagle Mountain and Cedar Creek Lakes.

Eagle Mountain Lake – September 6

The Fall Trash Bash season kicks off with the 33rd Annual Eagle Mountain Lake Trash Bash on Sat., September 6. Volunteers will gather from 8 to 10 a.m. to remove litter and debris from the lake’s shoreline. After the cleanup, participants will be treated to an after-party at Twin Points Park from 10 a.m. to noon.

Trinity River in Fort Worth – September 20

Next up will be the 34th Annual Fall Trinity Trash Bash on Sat., September 20, which focuses on the Trinity River in Fort Worth. From 8 to 10 a.m. volunteers will tackle trash and debris at 10 designated locations along the West and Clear Forks of the river.

After the cleanup, volunteers are invited to an after-party at The Shack at Panther Island Pavilion, located at 395 Purcey Street, from 10 a.m. to noon

Cedar Creek Lake – September

The final event, Cedar Creek Lake Trash Bash, will take place on Sat, September 27 from 8 to 10 a.m. The cleanup will be followed by an after-party at Tom Finley Park in Gun Barrel City from 10 a.m. to noon.
