Riverfront Development Guidelines
The following design guidelines apply to developing and redeveloping areas along the Fort Worth floodway. They are in addition to federal, state, or local jurisdictional requirements related to flood control and other related laws and regulations. These regulating entities may include additional and overriding regulations.
A special operating permit is required for any commercial activity or event on Tarrant Regional Water District property. TRWD property includes 72 miles of Trinity Trails and Marine Creek Lake.
Notice to Purchaser Information
According to Section 49.452 of the Texas Water Code, TRWD is not required to provide a Notice to Purchaser for real estate transactions within its boundaries. The District does not provide services to household or commercial users, and does not currently have any outstanding general obligation debt to provide those services.
