The National Weather Service (NWS) is forecasting rainfall in the TRWD reservoir watersheds this weekend. There is also a threat of severe weather in the area, see NWS guidance in Graphic 1 below for further details.  Rainfall chances begin late Friday evening and are highest Saturday morning into afternoon.  The rain is expected to clear out by Sunday.  The latest forecasts are calling for weekend rainfall totals of around 1 inch across the TRWD reservoir watersheds.  The possibility of isolated areas of heavier rainfall does exist.   With reservoirs full and soil conditions near saturation any additional rainfall could result in additional discharges from the TRWD reservoirs.   TRWD staff will be monitoring conditions 24 hours a day.   Current conditions at TRWD reservoirs are shown below.  Please be advised that forecasts are subject to change and TRWD reservoir  inches in operations are based on observed rainfall  to conditions.  Additional updates will be provided here if conditions dictate, please check back.
