Newspapers in Education

As part of a Star-Telegram Newspapers in Education initiative, area teachers are offered an opportunity to sign up and receive a free supplement entitled, "Water: From Here to Eternity and Back Again."

More than 7,000 students from 230 schools in 38 school districts use the supplement to study how water fits into the environment and our everyday lives. The lessons from the supplement use math, geography, and science to teach students about protecting and conserving our water resources. TRWD and its major customers have customized the supplement with additional topics that specifically relate to water issues in North Central Texas.
