February 22, 2018 General Statement of Monitoring Conditions

By February 22, 2018
Rainfall Forecast | TRWD

TRWD is monitoring the precipitation and resulting runoff in the District reservoir watersheds over the past few days.  A graphic showing the total rainfall from this event starting on Tuesday (2/20)  up to 7 AM this morning is shown below.  Additional rainfall is anticipated today through Saturday.  District staff is currently monitoring conditions 24 hours a day. In the event that reservoir levels dictate flood discharge operations, regular updates on the Flood Blog will be posted.  At this time District flood monitoring staff is not expecting Lake Bridgeport or Richland-Chambers Reservoirs to reach conservation level.  It is possible that Eagle Mountain Lake and Cedar Creek Reservoir reach conservation level in the next few days.  Current estimates do not show this happening at either reservoir until Saturday (2/24).  If updated forecasts indicate this to occur sooner than Saturday, the Flood Blog will be updated.

Please call the Flood Hotline for further information.
