Introduction to TRWD

Since 1924, the Tarrant Regional Water District has provided quality water to its customers, implemented vital flood protection measures and created recreational opportunities for Tarrant County residents and communities.

TRWD TAX RATE

As of September 20, 2016, TRWD’s tax rate is .0194 cents per $100 valuation.

The tax rate is the lowest in Tarrant County, and is paid by those who own property within the district’s taxing district.

Notice to Purchaser Information

According to Section 49.452 of the Texas Water Code, TRWD is not required to provide a Notice to Purchaser for real estate transactions within its boundaries. The District does not provide services to household or commercial users, and does not currently have any outstanding general obligation debt to provide those services.
