1. Operates Commercial Mowers and Agricultural Tractor Mowers to maintain the Fort Worth Floodway. Tractors may be operated on 2.5 horizontal : 1 vertical slopes on riverbanks and levees. 2. Operates lawn maintenance equipment such as: weedeaters, lawn mowers, edgers, and blowers. 3. Constructs and paints fences, signs, gates, and other appurtenances along the floodway. 4. Collects refuse and litter along Water District property. 5. May supervise a crew of day laborers performing routine grounds maintenance. Pay rate is $12.00 per hour.

Education, Training and Experience:
Required:
• A bachelor’s degree in hydrology, industrial technology or industrial or civil engineering required.
• Five years’ experience in a water related field
• A working knowledge of hydrologic models including HEC-RAS
• Experience with pumping equipment and pipelines
• Skilled in Microsoft office suite
Preferred:
• Working knowledge of ESRI GIS products a plus
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD a plus

• Will troubleshoot PC based hardware, software, and network connectivity issues focused on the Windows operating systems and the Microsoft Office Suite • Will be responsible for communicating and assisting employees with all PC issues, which include all applications and hardware • Will be responsible for mobile devices including iPhones and iPads • Must be able to manage time effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision • Must have advanced knowledge of Microsoft computing environments including a thorough understanding of client/server environments • Will demonstrate advanced desktop troubleshooting ability and will be able to determine whether an issue resides on the server, network, or workstation and troubleshoot accordingly
